My work hours and time zone
When Jenard is available and how time zone differences are handled.
JM Virtual Solutions is based in Manila, Philippines and operates on Philippine Standard Time (PST), which is UTC+8.
Standard working hours:
- Monday to Friday — 8:00 AM to 6:00 PM PHT
- Weekend availability — on a case-by-case basis depending on client needs
- Public holidays — communicated in advance with coverage arranged if needed
Working with clients in different time zones:
Jenard regularly works with clients across different time zones including the United States, Canada, the United Kingdom, and Australia. Time zone differences are manageable and are discussed openly during the discovery call.
How overlap is handled:
- Async communication is used for most day-to-day tasks — you do not need to be online at the same time
- Scheduled check-in calls are booked at a mutually convenient time
- EOD reports and task updates are delivered at the end of each working day regardless of your time zone
- Urgent matters are flagged immediately via your preferred communication channel
Time zone reference:
- PHT (UTC+8) is 3 hours behind Sydney (AEST)
- PHT is 7 hours ahead of London (GMT) during standard time
- PHT is 12–15 hours ahead of US time zones, depending on your location
Response time commitment:
Messages sent during working hours are responded to within 1–2 hours. Messages sent outside working hours are responded to at the start of the next working day unless marked urgent.
