What to prepare before our first session?

Come prepared and get more out of your onboarding call.

To make the most of our first session together, it helps to have a few things ready before we get on the call. The more context you can share upfront, the faster we can hit the ground running.

Information to have ready:

- A list of tasks or responsibilities you want to hand off
- The tools and platforms you currently use (CRM, email provider, social media accounts, project management tools, etc.)
- Your preferred communication style — email, chat, async, or scheduled calls
- Your working hours and time zone
- Any existing processes, templates, or SOPs you want me to follow
- Login credentials or a plan for how you will share access securely

Questions to think about:

- What is taking up most of your time right now?
- What tasks do you dislike doing or keep putting off?
- What does success look like for you in the first 30 days?
- Are there any tools or workflows you want to change or improve?

Do not worry if you do not have everything figured out:

You do not need to have a perfectly organized business before hiring a VA. Part of what JM Virtual Solutions does is help you build structure, not just maintain it. Come as you are — we will figure out the rest together.
