How to end or pause the engagement?
A respectful, clear process for winding down or pausing your VA engagement.
Life and business circumstances change. If you need to pause or end your engagement with JM Virtual Solutions, here is how the process works — professionally and without any drama.
Pausing the engagement:
A pause is a temporary stop in engagement, intended to resume later.
- Give at least 7 days' notice before the intended pause date
- Send a message via your agreed communication channel outlining the pause duration if known
- All active tasks will be wrapped up or handed off cleanly before the pause begins
- A summary of open items, pending tasks, and important notes will be documented and shared with you
- Your tools and access remain set up, so resuming is seamless when you are ready
Ending the engagement:
An offboarding process is followed to make sure nothing is left unfinished.
Step 1 — Notice
Provide at least 14 days' written notice via email or your agreed communication channel.
Step 2 — Transition period
During the notice period, Jenard will continue working on active tasks while preparing handover documentation.
Step 3 — Handover documentation
A full handover document will be prepared, including active tasks, pending items, login credentials to be transferred, process notes, and any important context a future VA or team member will need.
Step 4 — Access revocation
We'll share an offboarding checklist to help you revoke all access to tools, platforms, and accounts cleanly and completely.
Step 5 — Final report and invoice
We'll deliver the final EOD and weekly summary along with the final invoice for any outstanding balance.
After the engagement ends:
- All client data handled during the engagement is treated with full confidentiality
- Jenard is happy to provide a testimonial request form or serve as a reference if the engagement went well
- The door is always open to re-engage in the future
No hard feelings, no complications — just a clean, professional close.
